The idiot proof diet is a strictly diet handbook that claims that they can help you lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Not just the first 11 days, but EVERY 11 days. Is that really possible? Does it really work?

I was definitely skeptical when I first heard about it from my brother.

But I have been searching for a weight loss method that will help me to lose weight without having to end up killing myself. You know how most diet requires you to avoid all sorts of food or to starve yourself? I can never go through those diets. I don't have the self-descipline to last through those ridiculous diets. Also, I have not been exercising for some time and asking me to go for a 30 minutes run now is basically impossible. 

So, since it worked so well for my brother, I went ahead and bought it.

Did it work? Did I Lose 9 Pounds?

I didn’t exactly lose 9 pounds but was really close. I lost 8.3 pounds through the first cycle of the idiot proof diet. I even started seeing results within days of the diet.

It is really easy to follow without any complicated rules or procedures. Plus, besides the $39 that I paid upfront for the handbook, there was no more addition program or equipments that I needed to buy besides that.

The food on the diet is easily found and best of all, I could find food that don’t need much cooking so I could get my meal ready in less than 5 minutes.

Diet...Do I need to Starve Myself?

When I talk to my friend about my new found treasure, they will all start asking if starving is required and the immediate response was there was no way they will be able to keep away from food.

But in this diet, there is no need to starve. And...you get to eat 4 meals a day! Yes, by eating more meals a day, your body is constantly working on the food. This increases the metabolism rate in your body, thereby helping you burn more calories than before.

Then, comes the next question...what are the food we need to avoid?

Of course you can’t be stuffing yourself with deep fried chicken wings everyday and still expect to lose weight. But you will be able to eat those stuff before your second cycle of the diet. I’ll get to that later.

Now, you will get to eat your carbohydrates. You will get to eat your meat (which is something I can’t live without), your cheese and eggs, and of course, fruits and vegetables. This diet makes sure that you get to lose weight without affecting your nutrition intake. So you don’t have to worry about having to see a doctor for some deficiency at the end of the diet.

Alright..Here’s the Exciting Part

You know how you can never stay on one diet for too long? You will crave for those food that you can’t have. Yes, what you can’t have always make it the most desirable.

I’ve been on so many diets and failed so many times simple because I would try to last as long as I can without certain food or following certain diet. But after at most a month, I would give up as results don’t come fast and I’m losing that tiny bit of weight and giving up all my favorite food!

This is where the diet is really awesome. After the first cycle of diet, you will get a break from the diet. During the 3-day break, you get to eat ANYTHING you want. I’m currently taking the break now and I’m loving it!

Will I Put Back My Weight During the 3-Day Break from the Diet?

If you had followed the diet guide well, your body will already be attuned to burning more calories than you normally do so no matter what you eat, it is burning lots of calories off your body.

Also, I found out that during the 3-day break (I’m on my second), though I did indulge in my chicken wings, I actually crave for fruits. Perhaps it is the habit from the 11 days of diet. Plus, I don’t seem to have the appetite to eat too much because of the habit of eating 4 times a day.

My close circle of friends joined me in the weight loss journey and it worked great for us. We didn’t end up bingeing on all the unhealthy food as we didn’t have to starve during the diet. We did eat till we were satisfied and when the break came, it just allowed us to indulge in the food we love so that we wouldn’t end up bingeing on them like what people normally do at the end of a long diet.

So the 3 day break idea is really great...especially for someone like me. I do not have much discipline in me and I can’t help but cheat in all my diet.

This is the first diet that I didn’t have to cheat. I sailed through it and dropped my weight easily!

More Awesome Info 

One reason why I didn’t have to cheat was the fact that they didn’t have strict rules like you can only eat this or that today. They give you much flexibility and allow you to make your own choice depending on your preference.

Plus....you get to have night snacks!

Yes! I almost shouted out in joy when I saw that. I’m the sorta person that stays up late every night and those normal diet would have me growling in hunger. I would be so hungry that I can’t even sleep well. I would normally end up so hungry that I would get up in the middle of the night and wolf down whatever I find in the fridge, usually eating more than I should.

And...You get to drink wine!

I’m sorry if you’re thinking that you can down bottles of beer each day. You can drink but not too much. One glass of wine per day would do fine.

Is this not an awesome diet?! 

Am I Suitable for the Diet? 

It has simple instructions to follow and the diet is easy even for who are looking for a way to start on their first weight loss journey. It truly is one idiot proof diet.

When you see how easy it is, you will understand how really anyone will be able to do it.
